Join our company and be part of an innovative team that’s First in Food.POSITION SUMMARY: This person would be responsible for documentation of tankers, pulling samples, mixing product, CIP lines, pumping product to and from different areas, filling and empting tankers.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Follow all LOTO for safe operation.

Demonstrate proper use and handling of chemicals.

Maintain all environmental compliance standards.

Proper samples pulled.

Responsible for running the solids, color and pH.

Complete batch records.

Calculate batches correctly using square.

Documentation of tankers.

Perform duties of cleaning vats, lines, pumps.

Tear down and rebuild all pumps, positive and centrifugal.

Understand and be able to alternate flow of all ice builders.

Mix salt yolk, weigh and mix egg recipes.

Able to hook up various lines (dryer, canner, food service, etc.).

Able to empty tankers and CIP them.

Follow proper hold tag procedures on dump back.

Able to run all CIP systems.

Work with and understand FSIS regulations.

Be able to tear down and put together homogenizer.

Be willing to work off shifts in emergency situations and work over time when needed.

Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMP’s, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained. Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety.

Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Perform other duties as assigned.

PREFFERED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups, customers/vendors or employees of the organization. Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram or schedule form.Specific skills and abilities required that are not included in other sections:

Must be safety minded and have a thorough knowledge of all safety procedures.

Able to work independently.

Good organizational skills, punctual.

Knows proper sanitation procedures - G.M.P.s.

Possess excellent leadership skills.

Must have basic math skills.

Must demonstrate open and honest communication between operator and supervisor.

Run equipment to maximize efficiencies and maintain quality product.

Be able to train operators in proper machine operations.
