Description We are seeking a Legal Secretary to join our team in Carson City, Nevada. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and involves providing executive administrative support within our law office, handling legal documents, and facilitating client communication. You will also be responsible for conducting legal research and assisting with document review.Responsibilities: Draft and manage legal documents and correspondence Conduct legal research related to Securities Law and Workers Compensation Law Assist with document review processes and maintain organized filing systems Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate meetings for attorneys Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and coworkers to facilitate case management Handle general administrative tasks such as answering phone calls and maintaining office supplies Utilize iManage or similar document management software for task management Leverage your knowledge of Legal Administrative procedures and terminology Apply your understanding of Legal Research methods and practices Use your experience in Securities Law or Workers Compensation Law to support case management Use your skills in Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS), Case Management Software, CompuLaw, Billing Functions, Calendar Management, Client Relations, Court Proceedings, Probate Law, Probate Litigation, and Probate & Estate Administration to enhance efficiency and effectiveness Maintain a high level of organizational skills and attention to detail Prioritize tasks effectively in a deadline-driven environment. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Legal Secretary Proficiency in Aderant and Adobe Acrobat software Familiarity with Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) Experience with Case Management Software and CompuLaw Ability to handle billing functions and calendar management Strong client relations skills Knowledge of consumer electronics Experience with court proceedings Familiarity with probate law, probate litigation, and probate & estate administration Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
