Job Description:
With the SMART 21 (Silver State Modernization Approach for Resources and Technology in the 21st Century) project, the State of Nevada seeks to replace its 18-year old financial and human resources system with a comprehensive ERP solution to increase statewide productivity and enhance decision making for resource allocation.
The project scope includes:
An integrated set of cloud-hosted Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution software components to deliver the functional and technical requirements for a statewide implementation for the State of Nevada.
Configuration of the SMART 21 components so that the solution meets functional and technical requirements.
Enabling technologies such as an integration platform to integrate with legacy applications, master data management to ensure data integrity across the solution components, business intelligence reporting capabilities, and externalized security authentication.
Implementation services including project management, requirements validation and elaboration, business process design and solution configuration, integration services, data migration/conversion, solution testing, support for user acceptance testing, solution training, production service center/help desk support services, support for turnover transition and post-turnover support.
This MSA is for a Developer that will be responsible for analyzing and extracting data from the Legacy State systems and providing data to the System Integrator. Developer should be skilled in SQL/PLSQL Development for both Oracle and MS-SQL and .NET development.
Scope of Work:
The Developer will work on an as needed basis under the direction of the Office of Project Management. Hours not to exceed 2000 per fiscal year.
The Developer will work with System Integrator and Data Conversion Lead to review data conversion technical specifications and analyze where to extract data from Legacy Systems.
The Developer will develop, debug, and test programs to extract data from numerous State systems.
The Developer will work with business users on any identified data cleansing items that may require cleanup prior to go-live and re-extract data as needed as cleanup occurs.
The Developer will participate in data mock conversion and production cutover tasks leading up to go-live to ensure all data in scope is converted properly.
The Developer will support any issues found post-go-live related to data conversion objects.
This Developer may be used for other technical tasks as needed related to the implementation of the SMART 21 project.
Deliverables:
Work with SMART 21 team, both State and Vendor to execute project tasks per the project schedule.
Participate in project meetings as requested/required.
Identify Risks and Issues and escalate to the Project Management team.
Follow the change order process prescribed by the Office of Project Management, for anything that deviates from the agreed scope with LSI.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Office of Project Management.
