This position requires strength in verbal and non-verbal communication across diverse time zones and regions, with an emphasis on relationship building and ability to educate, persuade, and build collaborative trust with stakeholders. The ability to communicate technical knowledge and AI concepts is key, bringing ideas and outside the box thinking into how AI/ML/NLP/GenAI and process automation can enhance productivity and reduce manual work processes. This role is also responsible for bringing latest findings in the fields mentioned above in a way that clearly communicates the benefits and potential within a highly regulated area of the healthcare pharmaceutical industry.Here you will help Takeda realize our ambition to transform the lives of patients through innovation and sustainability from plasma donation to delivery of medicines.This is turn empowers Takeda’s unwavering commitment to patients.YOUR TASKS IN DETAIL

Build deep relationships across business units and groups, both technical and non-technical.

Educate and inform across all of Takeda on latest industry trends, avoiding pitfalls from others, bringing innovative thought and championing process automation.

Identify opportunities for adjacent and disruptive innovation to support business and technology strategies.

Ownership and continual update of curriculum and education materials related to AI/ML/NLP/GenAI/process automation that can be shared with various teams.

Manage delivery of prototypes and PoCs, timeline, budget, necessary resources, etc.

Recognize stakeholder needs through primary/secondary research such as focus groups, interviews, observations, presentations, and data.

Develop a deep contextual understanding of our customers, our users, and their needs.

Determine how particular capability enhances moments of customer journey.

Demonstrates ability to provide level of transparency and visibility with cross-functional partners including leadership and stakeholders.

Be comfortable generating and evaluating data to guide decisions.

Steer implementation partners and making decisions based on information collected to accelerate the delivery of the product.

Ensure product follows all company and departmental policies, procedures, and standards.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

Minimum 5 years of technology experience with bachelor’s degree or 7 years technology experience without bachelor’s degree.

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Product Owner/Manager role

Demonstrated experience on building or consulting solutions on traditional AI and modern AI (generative AI)

Project management experience in the digital space

Experience with planning and managing all phases of system development (e.g., requirements gathering, design, configuration, development, COTS selection, testing, conversion, and application support)

Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook).

Ability to write and speak in the English language

Ability to fly to meetings regionally and globally

Access to transportation to attend meetings

Remote work setup (needs to be based in the US)

Desirable:

Pharmaceutical, healthcare, or consumer-facing industry experience

Agile, Product Owner/Manager or Project Manager certifications

Experience with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Miro, etc.)
