The position includes maintaining employee records, running bi-weekly, multi-state payroll, processing 401k contributions, tax deposits and garnishments, as well as preparation of quarterly/annual payroll taxes. Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Maintain employee records
Enter and verify computer generated time cards
Calculate manual time cards
Process bi-weekly, multi-state payrolls
Process tax deposits, 401k contributions and garnishments
Process quarterly and annual payroll tax returns
Post payroll in computer and manually on ledger sheets
Basic Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED required
Five (5) years of experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
Proficient on 10 key calculator by touch
Detail oriented and able to meet payroll deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Dependable, organized and able to maintain confidentiality
Solid understanding of payroll policies
Sage ERP (MAS 100) experience preferred
