What we are looking for:
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of accounting experience with the ability to quickly grasp new methods and processes. You must be able to work independently in a firm deadline environment. Experienced in quarterly/annual payroll reporting, AIA billing and knowledge of prevailing wages is preferred. If YOU are the right candidate, WE WILL TRAIN!
Responsibilities:
Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
Perform financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
Provide support for audits and tax filings
Maintain and update accounting systems
Payroll entry and weekly processing for 100+ employees
Quarterly and annual payroll reporting - 940/941, SUTA
Prevailing Wage calculation
OSHA 10 for General Construction and Safety Required within 15 days of hire
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
Construction payroll/accounting experience
Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Proficient in using accounting software
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Microsoft Office proficiency
Office hours are 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday -Friday
