Position Overview
The Estate & Financial Planner will work directly with clients to build comprehensive estate and financial plans and manage ongoing relationships. This role is ideal for someone who is client-centric, organized, and passionate about helping families secure their financial future.
You will handle a mix of existing clients (already under management) and grow new prospects (working off our leads list), ensuring continuity, communication, and long-term planning success.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned book of existing clients
Conduct annual and semi-annual client reviews
Update estate and financial plans as life circumstances or laws change
Maintain clear and timely communication with all clients
Estate & Financial Planning
Develop and present personalized estate plans, including wills, trusts, asset protection, legacy planning, and beneficiary strategies
Create retirement income plans, tax-efficient distribution strategies, and long-term financial roadmaps
Analyze client portfolios, insurance gaps, and financial risks
Ensure alignment with current state and federal regulations
Coordinate with attorneys, CPAs, and third-party professionals when needed
New Client Onboarding
Guide new clients through discovery, planning, and implementation
Review financial documents, account statements, trust agreements, and insurance policies
Prepare recommendations and deliver professional, confident presentations
Administrative & Compliance
Maintain accurate client records in CRM systems
Ensure all planning documentation is compliant and up to date
Work closely with the operations team to process transfers, account changes, and follow-up tasks
Qualifications
Required:
Experience in estate planning, financial planning, wealth management, or a related field
Strong understanding of wills, trusts, beneficiary designations, wealth transfer strategies, and retirement planning
Excellent communication skills with a high degree of professionalism
Ability to simplify complex financial/estate topics for clients
Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple clients at once
