Job Title: Part-Time In-House Bookkeeper

Location: Las Vegas, NV

Pay: $25 per hour (based on experience)

Hours: 20 hours per week

We are currently seeking a highly organized and efficient Office Admin, Bookkeeper to join our team. As an Office Admin, Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office through a variety of administrative and bookkeeping tasks. Strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and proficiency in QuickBooks are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities:

Sort and manage incoming mail to determine necessary actions.

Assist with business license renewals, both state and local.

Ensure timely payment of insurance premiums and maintain appropriate coverage.

Keep up to date on workers' compensation and handle any audits.

File quarterly sales and use tax.

Manage state unemployment insurance filings and modified business tax.

Handle DETR and Secretary of State filings.

Perform bookkeeping tasks and manage ADP payroll.

Organize bills and pay dates.

Address IRS letters and ensure compliance.

Track and manage unsecured property tax bills.

Stay on top of all tax and regulatory obligations, including:

State of Nevada Department of Taxation Modified Business Tax

D.E.T.R. Nevada Department of Employment Training and Rehabilitation Employment Security Division

Unsecured Property Tax Bill Business Clark County Nevada

U.S. Department of Commerce U.S. Census Bureau

IRS Department of the Treasury Internal Revenue Service

City Of North Las Vegas Business License Division

Workers Comp State of Nevada Department of Business & Industry Industrial Relations (DIR)

City of Las Vegas Department of Planning Business License Division

State of Nevada Department of Taxation Sales and Use Tax

Social Security Administration

Clark County Assessor's Office Personal Property Declaration

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

Experience working at a CPA firm.

Knowledge of modern technologies and software for enhancing efficiency, such as Motion, Notion, ChatGPT, and QuickBooks.

Experience with workflow automation and productivity systems.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to create visual progress maps and track project progress.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities effectively.
