Job Title: Leasing Agent (Residential Apartments)
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Compensation: $18 per hour + bonus of up to $300 per lease signed
Pay Frequency: Weekly
Shift: Standard hours from 9 AM to 6 PM (Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday) with weekend availability as needed.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Leasing Agent to join our team at a 200-unit residential apartment complex in Las Vegas. The Leasing Agent will assist prospective tenants in finding their ideal apartment, guide them through the leasing process, and provide exceptional customer service. This role involves showcasing available units, managing leasing paperwork, and supporting residents with their inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
Leasing Apartments:
Show available units to prospective tenants, highlighting property features, pricing, and lease terms.
Process lease agreements and ensure all necessary documents are signed.
Customer Service:
Provide friendly and helpful service to both prospective and current residents.
Answer questions about the property and assist with maintenance requests and tenant issues.
Conduct move-in and move-out inspections.
Marketing and Outreach:
Post apartment listings online and maintain updated information on rental websites.
Assist with community events and outreach efforts to attract new tenants.
Administrative Tasks:
Maintain accurate records of leasing activities, applications, and tenant information.
Track apartment availability and coordinate move-ins and move-outs.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework in property management, real estate, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a leasing agent or in a related field.
Strong sales, negotiation, and customer service skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with prospective and current tenants.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with property management software are helpful.
Work Environment:
This role typically involves working on-site at the apartment complex. The Leasing Agent should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment that requires multitasking and adaptability. Weekend availability may be required for property tours, lease signings, and resident events.
