POSITION: Seasonal Christmas Bell Ringer
STATUS: NON-EXEMPT-Hourly
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL ABILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to meet attendance requirements
Ability to stand in one location for extended periods in outside weather conditions, with breaks and lunch periods as required by State law.
Work is performed outside in a wide variety of weather conditions. Dressing appropriately is important for comfort.
Ability to follow instructions with limited supervision
Ability to relate to the general public
Ability to abide by the required dress code
Ability to ring a small handbell and be responsible for the bell and apron
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Report to assigned worksite on time and ready to work as scheduled.
Must report to assignment appropriately groomed (beard or mustache is clean and neatly trimmed), hair neat and clean, and attire is relative to the position
Actively stand at the Kettle and ring the Bell to ensure the donations are collected and put directly into the Kettle
Interact with the public as patrons enter and exit the Kettle site pleasantly and professionally at all times.
Must be able to work weekdays, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed; hours of operation may vary. Hours are based on around volunteers who may want to ring at your location. Full-time work hours are not guaranteed.
