Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Project Manager/Estimator. In this dual-role position, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects, as well as estimating project costs to ensure accurate and competitive bids.
Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Lead the planning and execution of construction projects from inception to completion.
Coordinate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and clients.
Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges to project success.
Estimation:
Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
Analyze project requirements, specifications, and blueprints to determine materials, labor, and equipment costs.
Collaborate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to gather necessary information for accurate estimations.
Stay informed about industry trends, material costs, and labor rates to maintain competitiveness.
Bid Preparation:
Develop competitive bids that align with project requirements and client expectations.
Present and defend estimates to clients and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, regulations, and quality standards.
Budget Management:
Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met.
Track expenses, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Collaborate with finance and accounting teams for accurate financial reporting.
Quality Assurance:
Implement and maintain quality control processes throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct regular inspections and assessments to ensure work meets quality standards.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Project Manager and Estimator in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and best practices.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Proficient in project management tools and software.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
