Benefits Coordinator

The Benefits Coordinator will assist employees, mostly by phone or email, with benefits enrollment and questions, assist with the administration of all benefits (for example: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, and 401(k)), along with maintaining employee database and files.  The Benefits Coordinator will report directly to the Director of Benefits and will continually provide professional guest service to all employees and vendors.Job Responsibilities : Responds to benefits inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquiriesEnsures the accuracy of all benefits enrollments in the HRIS to provide vendors with accurate eligibility informationInputs employee data into the system as needed.Audits information related to Benefits matters.Scanning and filing of employee benefits recordsEnsures records are stored appropriatelyMaintains thorough and complete case file notes  Coordinate daily benefits processing.Performs quality checks of benefits-related dataDistributes all benefits enrollment materials and determines eligibilityEnrolls employees with carriers and process life status changesAssists with the open enrollment processProvides necessary reports for allocation/billing chargesAll other duties as assigned by management
