Behind the scenes, attention to detail keeps everything running. This role supports resort operations through hands-on maintenance, preventive care, and project work—helping ensure a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment for guests and team members.DutiesPerform engineering projects, guest calls, preventative maintenance, and repairs on plumbing, electrical components, HVAC systems, and household appliances.Maintain interior and exterior surfaces, including walls, ceilings, flooring, and pools/spas.Operate and maintain resort equipment, tools, and software systems effectively and safely.Participate in procurement and inventory processes to ensure availability of necessary materials.Communicate professionally with guests and team members, addressing needs and resolving issues promptly.Adhere to safety guidelines, identify potential hazards, and comply with all CFI/Westgate Resorts policies and procedures.Perform other duties as assigned by resort operations leadership.Conduct regular inspections of resort facilities to identify and report maintenance needs.Assist in the development and implementation of energy-saving initiatives and sustainable practices.Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences during maintenance activities.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and equipment servicing.Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry standards and new technologies.Respond to emergency situations and perform necessary repairs or interventions as needed.Assist in the orientation and training of new engineering team members.Contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance processes and procedures.To excel in this role, you must embody our core values of integrity, passion, and a strong work ethic.
