We are seeking an ICC Certified Reinforced Concrete and/or Structural Masonry Special Inspector to perform special inspections on commercial, industrial, and public works construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring construction activities comply with approved plans, specifications, applicable building codes, and industry standards.ResponsibilitiesPerform special inspections of reinforced concrete and structural masonry construction in accordance with project specifications and applicable building codes.Verify compliance with approved plans, shop drawings, and special inspection requirements.Inspect reinforcing steel placement, concrete placement activities, masonry construction, grout placement, and related structural elements.Document inspection observations and prepare accurate daily reports and project documentation.Maintain complete and organized project files, including reports, field notes, correspondence, RFIs, and supporting records.Communicate inspection findings and project updates to project managers, contractors, engineers, and client representatives.Identify and document non-conforming work and verify corrective actions when required.Review structural drawings, specifications, and code requirements prior to and during inspections.Perform inspections in accordance with company quality standards and safety procedures.
