The Inbound Team Lead will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Shipping department.  Including all product initially received through the warehouse and the handling of all paperwork pertaining to that merchandise. Tracks performance and attendance for all personnel assigned to the shipping area. This position is also responsible for safety, organization and cleanliness.YOUR TASKSBe the expert in RF, Conveyor, and WMS systemsBe knowledgeable of all areas of operations and the links between themCoordinate with various ops teams (Control tower, Inventory Control, Transportation, Inbound, Pick/Pack, Shipping, Service Delivery) to ensure daily adherence to performance targets is metMonitor area activity and communicate all risks of missed targets to the SupervisorsCoordinate and prepare recovery plan for at-risk targets with SupervisionCommunicate exceptions identified by teams to the Account Team (ie. Inbound damage, missing part numbers)Follow up on issues as neededWork with the local team to identify areas of improvement and report daily efficiencyMonitor inventory levels of consumables (boxes, packing slips, etc.) Create requisitions in SAP as neededOversee personnel in a professional mannerInvestigate and repair exceptions (Over, Under, Missing, Damages etc)Assigns cycle counts as neededBe flexible with shift hours as needed
