The Lead Sommelier is responsible for maintaining the outlet wine list, controlling cost, maintaining wine storage areas, keeping accurate inventory, training outlet staff in proper wine service, communicating with guests in a clear and professional manner, and providing excellent guest service according to Wynn Las Vegas service standards.Job Responsibilities:  Ensures all Wynn Las Vegas core values and property and department standards are implemented and applied.Must have the ability to promote positive, fair, and ethical relations with all team member, with all Wynn contractors, and in all interactions within the Host and Surrounding Communities, as an ambassador of the Wynn brand.Makes recommendations for new concepts and re-fresh of existing concepts when appropriate.Works closely with the Administrative Wine Team on specific projects when appropriate.Determines strategic vendor partnerships in choosing wines for the outletWorks with safety as a priority, and follows department and company safety standards.Maintains relevant knowledge of industry through continuing education and training.Performs any other job-related duties as assigned.
