We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapist Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our therapists, nurses, caseworkers, and foster parents in delivering exceptional care to our patients. As a Therapist Technician, you will serve as the friendly and resourceful face of our facility, ensuring efficient patient management processes and maintaining a clean and accessible medical office.Responsibilities:Schedule appointments and coordinate tests for patients in collaboration with staff and therapists.Work with doctors and case workers to acquire medical scripts when needed.Record and organize patient medical records to ensure accuracy and accessibility.Ensure all schedules are filled and facilitate the transfer of children between homes and designated areas for tele-therapy.Assist potential foster families in engaging in tele-health services with potential foster children.Act as a knowledgeable resource for case workers, potential foster families, and administrative staff regarding tele-health services.Manage the upkeep and maintenance of the office to create a welcoming environment for patients and visitors.Facilitate communication between patients, visitors, and medical staff to ensure a smooth patient experience.Maintain inventory of medical supplies to support the needs of the office and medical staff.Assist therapists in therapy designated activities, such as grabbing equipment and cleaning up as needed.
