Job Summary:
The Bobarista will provide excellent customer service to guests and craft drinks to their liking. They will be knowledgeable about recipes, allergens, and dietary needs, have strong knowledge of ingredients and tea brewing, and prepare food safely in a clean environment following sanitation guidelines. The Bobarista will also contribute to a positive and welcoming workplace environment, treating team members with respect and kindness. Overall, they will create an enjoyable environment for customers through customer service and maintaining a clean/welcoming store environment.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Contribute to a positive team environment
Greeting customers
Providing excellent customer service
Taking food and drink orders and accurately recording them in the system
Making menu recommendations
Making menu accommodations for customers with dietary restrictions
Memorize recipes
Remake drinks as needed
Taking inventory
Follow local food safety & sanitation regulations
Ensuring that orders are completed promptly and updating customers on wait times
Promptly addressing customer service issues. Refer to management when necessary
Perform cleaning duties such as lobby sweeps, taking out the trash, wiping surfaces, cleaning dishes, etc.
Qualifications & Skills:
Able to lift boxes & pots over 40lbs
Able to work on their feet for extended periods
Knowledge of food safety regulations
Has or will maintain a Food Safety Handlers Card (we will train as well)
Communicates with patience and a friendly attitude
Effective communication and active listening skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional time management skills
Teamwork skills

$13 an hour + tips
Tips will begin being shared with the new hire after a 1 month training period
Factoring in tips, team members earn an average of $14-16 an hour
