Petrol Head Cocktail Garage is a motorsport-themed speakeasy bar and lounge fusing craft cocktails with a Hawaiian-Japanese-inspired food program. Think street racing meets street food — modern, loud, fun, and always on the move. We’re growing fast and looking for another solid cook to join our kitchen pit crew.
The Role:
We’re seeking a part-time BOH line cook to help execute a small but high-quality menu that’s fast, consistent, and clean. You’ll be working in a cold-line and hot line setup, focusing on prep, plating, and smooth service during busy nights.
Responsibilities:
Prep and execute menu items quickly and accurately
Maintain a clean, organized station and follow health codes
Assist in daily setup, breakdown, and inventory
Collaborate with bartenders and FOH team for fast ticket times
Take pride in plating and presentation — we eat with our eyes first
Qualifications:
1+ year of kitchen experience (poke, sushi, or gastropub background a plus)
Positive attitude and team mentality — no egos here
Reliable transportation and punctuality
Able to work weekends, evenings, and special events
