Seeking home cook for family of three, including teenage boy with autism. We are needing support in providing tasty and nutritious meals throughout the day. Funding provided by a disability program.
Ideal candidate would be a competent and efficient cook, and also a natural caretaker and homemaker. Would prefer an individual with introverted personality who loves to be of service without needing much attention. We keep our home calm and quiet with minimal chatter and drama. If you can get things done while being low maintenance, unobtrusive and respecting our privacy, this would be a good match.
We also require extreme reliability with attendance and punctuality. Absences are expected to be zero or extremely rare.
We have strong preferences in the design of menus and sourcing healthy/organic ingredients, but can provide a lot of information and guidance including specific recipes and specialty cookbooks as needed. Also open to modifications and new ideas from the cook. We enjoy a variety of cuisines including American, Traditional British, Italian, Mexican, Indian, Asian, and Mediterranean.
The number of hours needed is approx 30/week (ranging from 25-35) on 5-6 days of the week including one weekend day (can be a half-day). In addition to the cooking and serving of the food at mealtimes, we would like assistance with grocery shopping and online orders as well as some light housekeeping such as laundry, daily tidying, and dusting.
