Job: Cooks
Pay: $16
Start Date(s): Now and ongoing until 2/1/2026
Candidates must be able to:
Prepare food following menus, recipes, and portions set by the Chef
Operate kitchen equipment and have a good knowledge of food items
Maintain food handling, safety, and sanitation standards while cooking, serving, and cleaning up
Follow the Chef's specifications and guidelines
Set up and break down your station in an orderly fashion and transport products from the café serving area
Ensure the quality and presentation of the food
Help teammates to complete all kitchen duties on time
Assist in other areas as needed
The job includes, but is not limited to:
Cooking food items according to recipes and food production standards
Ensuring food is safely prepared and at the proper temperature for consumption
Keeping the cooking station clean and orderly during the shift
Complying with all sanitation and safety standards to ensure a safe work environment
Safely using and operating cooking appliances and utensils
Providing friendly and helpful customer service for guests as needed
Assisting in ordering and receiving food products for the kitchen as needed
Working in a busy environment and standing for long periods of time
