Location: North Las Vegas, NV

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation: Salary range $42, 000 - $50, 000 annually, or hourly rate plus bonus.

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee all back-of-house operations and ensure the delivery of exceptional food quality and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader, detail-oriented, and capable of managing a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

-Operational Oversight: Supervise and coordinate daily kitchen activities, ensuring all food is prepared and presented according to company standards and recipes.

-Staff Management: Hire, train, schedule, and supervise kitchen staff (cooks, prep cooks, dishwashers), fostering a positive and efficient team environment.

-Inventory & Cost Control: Manage inventory levels, order supplies from vendors, oversee deliveries, and monitor food and labor costs to meet budget targets and reduce waste.

-Quality & Safety Assurance: Uphold strict health, safety, and sanitation standards, ensuring compliance with all local and federal regulations.

-Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained in excellent working condition, coordinating maintenance as needed.

-Collaboration: Work closely with the General Manager to coordinate on menu changes and ensure seamless communication between the front and back of house.

Qualifications & Skills:

-Proven experience (typically 2-4+ years) in a supervisory or management role within a high-volume restaurant or food service operation.

-Strong knowledge of food production, culinary techniques, and inventory control practices.

-Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.

-Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

-Proficiency in computer skills for scheduling, inventory, and point-of-sale (POS) systems.

-Must possess a valid Food Handler Card or ServSafe Certification, as required by law.

-Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.
