Our restaurant is Kyoto Sushi, located on Sunset & Decatur. We are a recently opened, rapidly growing Japanese kitchen specializing in sushi, ramen, Japanese barbecue, and other dishes.
We are in need of BOH employees - kitchen cooks and dishwashers.
Looking for a cook with 1 year experience.
-Ranges from $13-$15/hr, depending on experience, will be discussed in-person.
-Lunch meals included.
-5 days a week, off on Saturday/Sunday or Sunday/Monday.
-Full-time, available for mornings or evenings, shifts anywhere from 8am - 10pm.
-Able to prepare and cook Japanese dishes or specialty foods, sauces, soup, salads, vegetables, meat, poultry and fish dishes.
-Serves meals by reviewing recipes; assembling, combining, and cooking ingredients; and maintaining a sanitary kitchen.
Looking for dishwasher. Starting at $12/hr. Experience preferred.
-Lunch meals included.
-Part-time or full-time, off on Sunday. Available for mornings or evenings, flexible schedule.
-Able to wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes using a 3-compartment sink.
-Able to clean, maintain, and support BOH by cleaning dirty dishes, organizing clean dishes, cleaning floors and counters, and helping prepare food for the kitchen.
Must be able to lift at least 45lbs.
Must be able to read and communicate in English.
Must be food handler safety certified
