The ambiance will be lively with and an open kitchen. Fresno is the 5th largest city in California and 33rd largest city in the Nation. We are the breadbasket of the world and have the finest proteins, fruits and vegetables year round literally in our very own backyard. Pairing wines with our incredible food cornucopia will be nothing less than the most exciting time of your life. We're 2 hours from San Francisco, 3 hours from Los Angeles, an hour from Yosemite and 2 hours from Carmel and all our amazing coastal cities. Planned opening is in late August early September. Responsibilities
The Sommelier is responsible for ensuring that each guest is hosted with genuine care and attention throughout his/her/their dining experience
This individual assists with all wine inventory, storage and serving for the restaurant, and makes sure to keep the lead sommelier and management up to date on the progress of items, as well as changes and/or issues
As an integral part of a team, the Sommelier is responsible for continuously looking for ways to improve each guest's experience from greeting through service, pace, teamwork, menu knowledge and thoughtful anticipation of the guest's needs
The role will serve as a FOH representative of our brand, and will aid in serving wine, as well as bussing tables, resetting tables, pouring water, running food, making cocktails, taking orders, and more
