Maxie's Las Vegas on the Strip is searching for experienced Line Cooks.

A line cook, the backbone of a restaurant kitchen, prepares and cooks food at a designated station, following recipes and ensuring timely and high-quality food preparation, while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities of a Line Cook:

Food Preparation:

Prepares ingredients according to company standards.

Cooks food using various methods like baking, grilling, frying, and sautéing.

Ensures quality and freshness of ingredients.

Follows recipes and cooking instructions.

Station Management:

Sets up and stocks their designated station with necessary supplies.

Maintains a clean and organized workspace, following food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Ensures proper storage of food items.

Timely Service:

Prepares food in a timely manner to ensure smooth service.

Works efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Communicates effectively with other kitchen staff.

Other Duties:

Plating dishes.

Inventory and waste disposal.

Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment.

Skills:

Knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
