We’re a college bar and a very busy boiled crawfish restaurant in the middle of Lafayette, Louisiana. Crawfish season here runs from late December through early June. For the upcoming crawfish season, we’re hiring a Lead Boiler, captain of the “Boil Pit Krewe”.
You can handle a very busy, high production seafood operation and the high heat of the boilers. If you are a Vegas line chef that needs a work trip away from the strip, we'd like to talk to you!
We provide housing, flights and training. Pay is $25/hr. 40-hr weeks, 5-6 days per week. A typical schedule is 1:30 to 9:30, at 5 days per week. Or, two (2ea) half day shifts, at 6 days per week. The housing provided is a room in the uncrowded company house a few blocks from the restaurant. Keep in mind that the cost of living here is low compared to Vegas. You don't need a car.
Winter and spring is our high season in Louisiana — the weather is mild and festival season is in full swing — making this a fun and rewarding seasonal placement.
