We are a senior couple who is seeking to establish beginnings of a future team to care for us during our retirement years. This is a long term position and only those interested in that kind of commitment need apply. To begin with, we need a multi-talented non smoking, english speaking individual that can wear a variety of hats - an organized detailed oriented housekeeper for light housekeeping and laundry; an exceptional cook that knows everyone loves a great meal; helps with caring for a small dog; is a licensed driver to take my wife to her appointments (using our vehicle) and run the occasional errand (using your vehicle with compensation). Also, my wife is recovering from a neuropathic virus that has limited her from performing some physical activities. Due to balance issues, she uses a walker and does not drive but does not need any assistance with personal hygiene. We want someone who is honest, dependable, punctual, available, without demanding outside commitments to others, have some medical training, be organized, have attention to detail, is a self starter who doesn’t need constant supervision, sometimes known to others as a neat freak, considers themself as a caring person, is known to others as a very good cook and just an all around happy person —- having all these attributes are very important to us. This person (maybe you) will be the foundation that we will build a future team around as our needs change. To help us select, train and manage that team. We know that it sounds like a lot but remember that this is just the beginning of a long term relationship. Is this you? Is this something you may have been looking for? The starting income is $25 per hour, the weekly schedule is Tuesdays - Saturday and from 9am-5pm (might be some wiggle room in starting and ending hours) and you are paid each Saturday.
