We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in dental assisting and a passion for patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including but not limited to fillings, extractions, and root canals
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Perform dental receptionist duties such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and managing patient records
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Maintain infection control protocols and ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
- Conduct patient assessments and record medical documentation accurately
- Assist with pediatric dental procedures as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or relevant certification/degree
- Proficiency in digital chart use
- Strong understanding of infection control protocols in a dental setting
- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide compassionate patient care
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals
- Familiarity with medical records management and documentation
Must be comfortable assisting dentist with patient centered care.
We are looking for an assistant to join our back office. Must be comfortable with using computers, digital x-rays, sterilization and working with other assistants. Experience with oral scanners a plus. Must be willing to adapt and be open-minded. Doctors complete a wide variety of procedures. Position is M, T, Th, F. Position immediately available
