Position: Orthodontist Assistant
Job Description:
- Assist the orthodontist in all aspects of patient care, including taking impressions, X-rays, and photographs.
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and care instructions for orthodontic appliances.
- Perform basic orthodontic procedures under the supervision of the orthodontist.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment charts as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an orthodontic or dental assistant preferred.
- Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and terminology.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
