Your Role

This is a hybrid position that blends optical sales and pretesting/technician duties. One moment you’ll help a patient find their perfect frames; the next, you’ll run diagnostic tests that set the doctor up for a seamless exam. Key Responsibilities

Optical Sales

Guide patients in selecting frames and lenses that match their prescription, style, and lifestyle

Take precise measurements for proper fit and alignment

Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and eyewear care

Submit insurance claims and process lab orders accurately

Adjust and repair eyewear confidently

Pretesting / Technician

Welcome patients and put them instantly at ease

Perform pre-exam tests: autorefractor, tonometry, retinal imaging, visual fields

Record results in our electronic health record (EHR)

Front Desk Duties

Prep exam rooms and keep equipment spotless and photo-ready

What We’re Looking For

Previous optical experience required.

Friendly, polished communicator who thrives in a boutique, fast-paced setting

True team player—reliable, collaborative, and ready to pitch in wherever needed

Detail-oriented and tech-curious

Dependable and punctual—you show up on time and can be counted on every shift

Comfort with insurance billing and vision benefits is a plus

Brings integrity, attention to detail, and a warm, professional presence to every patient interaction

Schedule

Monday through Saturday, with Saturday availability strongly preferred

Sunday and one weekday off each week
