Job description
A young family in Las Vegas are looking for an excellent and experienced housekeeper assist with the two young daughters and to keep their 4,000 sq ft home clean, tidy and organized. In addition to cleaning and general tidying, the housekeeper is also expected to manage household laundry, oversee maintenance appointments, keep track of inventory levels, greet vendors, occasionally help with the children and other miscellaneous requests as needed. The housekeeper is also expected to prepare light meals for dinner for the family, prep lunch and light healthy snacks for the children, and help with the children’s bedtime routine. Successful candidates will be flexible, adaptable, organized, team players and love children!
Hours: Afternoon Housekeeper - Monday – Friday; 2:00– 9:00pm with flexibility
Salary: Starting at $35 per hour DOE
Benefits: 10 PTO; 5 sick days; Federal holidays; open to offering a medical stipend
The Family: Father, Mother and 2 girls ages 5 & 8; (possibly a cat or dog in the future)
The House: A 4K Sq. ft, single level home; 4 bedrooms/baths, a swimming pool & casita
The Staff: Another housekeeper that works the morning shift
Key Duties:
Helping with daily care requirements, including making dinner, prepping lunches/snacks for next day, bathtime, bedtime etc.
Picking up children from school/activities if needed
Assisting the parents as needed with shared charge
Cleaning throughout the house
Tidying all rooms to ensure items are neatly stored and clean
Managing all laundry, hand washing, ironing and dry cleaning
Greeting guests, couriers and tradesmen at the door and overseeing appointments when necessary
Working alongside the other housekeeper to ensure household is running smoothly

Light cooking for the family as required (simple home cooked meals, able to follow recipe, ideal if knowledge of Chinese cuisine)
Running errands (dropping of dry cleaning & buying groceries)
Ordering supplies and toiletries, making sure supplies do not run low, and recording receipts
Making healthy lunches and snacks for the children
Tidying the kitchen after meal preparation
House/pet sitting when the family is travelling
Requirements
Ideally, Mandarin speaking or culturally aware
A clean valid Driver’s License, with own car to travel to and from work; comfortable driving children to and from school/activities if needed
Legally able to work within the United States
Lives in the surrounding area
Minimum 2-3 years working in a similar role and cultural setting
Must love pets (family looking to have a cat or dog in the future)
