Position Summary/Requirements: Previous employment as a Heavy Equipment/Shop Mechanic. Must have own full set of tools. Must maintain a clean and organized work area. Must comply with company policies and government regulations including safety. Must accurately prepare inspection and service reports and maintain other records as required. Caterpillar and various other heavy equipment mechanical experience preferred. Strong communication skills. Strong knowledge of service operations, heavy equipment repair and technology including engines, hydraulics, electrical, mechanical and general repair. Welding experience a plus.
Physical Requirements: Capable of moving/lifting up to 75 pounds. Able to easily maneuver on/under/around trucks and heavy equipment safely in shop or on job sites as needed.
