The Desert Shores Homeowners Association seeks a part-time maintenance assistant. Applicant should have a wide range of general maintenance skills. Basic irrigation system experience for emergency repair a huge plus. Commercial pool filtration system maintenance also a plus. Will oversee landscape contractor performance on weekends. Position is for six or eight (negotiable) hours per day Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Applicant must speak English fluently, Spanish language skills desirable. Additional hours/overtime available for multiple special events held annually. Duties will include driving HOA vehicles, general neighborhood clean-up including occasional removal of dead fish and fowl from lakes and streets. Desert Shores is a 3,351-unit neighborhood with four man-made lakes, swim lagoon and club house complex and is a delightful work environment. Applicant must be eligible to work in the United States, have a Nevada Driver’s License and present a Nevada DMV Driving Record and LVMPD record printout and have reliable transportation.
