I am a golf ball diver, meaning I go into golf course lakes to recover golf balls, wash, sort and sell them out of my warehouse. I need a worker to go to the golf course with me and receive the bags of balls in the water after they are recovered by me with scuba gear. You will get wet and dirty but the water should not be above your knees. You will NOT be diving for golf balls. But you will be expected to walk the ponds a little and pickup balls you see. You then bag them and take them back to the truck and return to pick me up. At the warehouse you will wash and/or bag the balls. This is a heavy lifting job, the bags weigh up to 70 pounds each and there will be about 60 bags lifted daily. IF YOU DON'T EXERCISE REGULARILY YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO LIFT THESE BAGS. Most of this job is collecting balls at the course, then washing and processing at the warehouse. We don't stop for lunch so you'll need to bring food with you if you want to eat or drink, however there is plenty of time to do so while waiting in the golf cart. This is usually a 8:00 to 6 job, but is sometimes a 7-7 or more job and is 4-5 days per week. You will be an independent contractor, therefore taxes will NOT be taken out at the end of the week, you'll receive a written check at the end of the week on Friday. I will NOT give you a 1099. This job is 40-50 hours per week. Pay starts at $15.00, then $16.00 after 30-90 days. Over 40 hours is paid as straight time. Christmas bonus after 1 year. This is a year round job. If you tend to fall asleep this is not the job for you. You will come to the warehouse at 3270 Sand Rd. Cape Coral Fl. 33993 to start work and we will leave in my truck.
This is an on-the-job-training, job.
If you enjoy working in an environment that is calm and peaceful with greenery and nature surrounding you, if you want to build huge natural muscles and not be yelled at by a boss this is the job for you.
Good English speaker, having your OWN vehicle, and a valid drivers license is a must.
You will not be using your vehicle in the job.
DO NOT RESPOND if you smoke at all, use e-cigarettes, vape or live with someone who does.
If you are on probation or parole, I won't be hiring you.
Also not hiring under 26 years old. Too young is too immature.
Yes, there will absolutely be alligators in the lakes. I deal with them all time. You will be trained on how to deal with them also. They would get me before you. In 22 years I have l been injured once because of any animal.
Please email if interested. DO NOT SIMPLY CONTACT MY NUMBER.
Looking for an immediate hire.
If you don't leave your number when you email me, I can't call you back.
Thanks,
Glenn
