JOB DESCRIPTION
Intuitive Solutions Home Staging is a professional Luxury Home Staging and Design Company in Las Vegas, we design over 90 Homes a year including working with Builders installing Model Homes. As a professional mover for Intuitive Solutions Home Staging you will be packing and moving furniture, art and accessories as well as client owned furniture on occasion. Moves range from just a single item to an entire home. Items to be moved can often weigh several hundred pounds. Moves involving stairways are very common. These demands require a person with above average strength, stamina, fitness and skill. We are looking for a positive, team player, motivated, Strong in critical thinking, knowledge in packing a truck properly, wrapping and protecting all furniture and taking care in not damaging property. We need a very experienced and skilled individual who is professional, organized and ready to grow with our company.

TASKS INCLUDE:
Carrying heavy items long distances and up/down stairways.
Manually hoisting heavy items.
Wrapping furniture and equipment.
May have to occasionally Box-pack items such as breakables, books, artwork, and accessories.
Working with moving equipment and tools.
Ability to drive a 26' Box truck. (Mandatory)
Disassembling and reassembling furniture and equipment.
Providing quality, customer service at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate must be motivated and positive, must be organized and willing to go the extra mile. Must be able to think on your feet, critical thinking and taking action quickly to correct situations where things may get damaged and or using your eyes to do things correctly. We are looking for someone self motivated, knows how to be efficient and big picture oriented. Must be professional and represent ISHS in a professional manner.
Must have fitness skills, above average stamina for physical labor and can lift 100 lbs on a regular basis. Strong communication and teamwork skills needed. Must pass background checks. High school diploma/G.E.D. required.

SUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for providing pickup and delivery of Home Staging Furniture. Working in Warehouse environment. Strong knowledge of packing, moving, wrapping furniture, protecting furniture, packing a truck and unloading inventory back in to the warehouse. If you are lazy and unmotivated this is not the job for you. Candidate will be responsible for cleaning, tidying and removing trash from warehouse. Must follow directions and see things that need to be addressed. Must be able to take direction from female designers as well as Supervisors and Operations team.
Additional skills: Knowledge of furniture, types of wood, able to do repairs and use tools. (drills, saws, hammers, dolly's, etc.
This is a full-time 35-40 hours a week position. Monday through Friday some Saturdays or weekends.
Most major Holidays off/paid.

Mobility to work as a vehicle operator; use standard goods transportation equipment and tools; stamina to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time; strength to lift and carry up to 100 pounds as well as load and unload a variety of items; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.
Work is subject to performance under exposure to adverse environmental conditions and extensive travel.
Candidates will undergo an extensive background check and drug testing.

Inspects vehicle to ensure that it is in a clean and operable condition; reports the need for service or repair.
Drives vehicle to various locations as needed, either by a pre-defined schedule or on an on-call basis.
Loads and unloads a variety of items as required.
Answers questions and provides information as required.
Maintains driver log, receipts and reports.
May pickup and deliver mail, packages, and supplies for the organization as requested or on a pre-
determined route, following pre-established guidelines.
Washes and cleans the interior and exterior of the vehicle; fuels the vehicle.
Utilizes a radio or phone to communicate and receive information.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Knowledge of: Keeps basic records of work performed.
Must set up rooms and rearrange furniture.
Assists with donation drop-offs.
Maintains room cleanliness of Warehouse and equipment
Contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of the unit's service to its customers by offering suggestions
and directing or participating as an active member of a team.
Represents the organization with dignity, integrity, and a spirit of cooperation in all relationships with staff
and the public.
Must help with Inventory Systems and keeping furniture organized and tagged.
Laws, rules and regulations for operating a motor vehicle in the state of Nevada.
Streets and roads located within the community.
Record keeping principles and practices.
Basic vehicle maintenance and repair practices.
Safety principles, practices and equipment related to the work.
Techniques for working with a variety of individuals from various socio-economic, ethnic and cultural
backgrounds.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma/GED; AND one (1) year of delivery experience; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
SKILL:
Operating a vehicle efficiently, effectively and safely.
Maintaining accurate records of work performed, including items donated and delivered.
Maintaining vehicle in a safe and operational condition.
Understanding and following written and oral instructions.
Working without close supervision in standard work situations.
Contributing effectively to the accomplishment of team or work unit goals, objectives and activities.
Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of the work.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS:
Continued employment is contingent upon all required licenses and certificates being maintained in active status without suspension or revocation.
Nevada Driver's License
Forklift certified (preferred)
