We are a growing restoration company specializing in water, fire, and mold damage recovery. We pride ourselves on fast, professional service and helping clients restore their homes and businesses after disaster strikes. We are currently looking for a motivated and experienced Lead Water Restoration Technician to join our team.
Job Summary:
As a Lead Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing water damage mitigation projects from start to finish. You will lead a team of technicians, manage equipment and documentation, ensure compliance with industry standards (IICRC), and communicate directly with customers, adjusters, and office staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage water restoration projects onsite
Perform water extraction, demolition, drying, and dehumidification services
Set up, monitor, and maintain drying equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, etc.)
Conduct moisture readings and document findings using appropriate tools
Ensure job site cleanliness and safety compliance
Train and supervise technicians on job procedures and protocols
Communicate professionally with customers, insurance adjusters, and team members
Complete all required documentation (job notes, moisture logs, photos) using restoration software (e.g., MICA, DASH, or similar)
Respond to emergency calls on a rotating on-call schedule
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in water damage restoration or related field
IICRC Certification (WRT ; ASD and others a plus)
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor in various conditions
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Proficient with smartphones, tablets, and restoration software
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Willingness to be on-call for after-hours emergencies
