Responsibilities:
- Wrapping small cosmetic products and putting them in envelopes with the corresponding shipping label (I’ll guide you)
- Emptying boxes of products, counting them and organizing them on the shelves
- Carrying empty boxes to dumpster
- cleaning up after you’re done
- On occasion you might be asked to drop the packages off at the post office, in which case I’d pay you the equivalent of 2 hours ($28) regardless of how long it takes you.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Be able to stick to scheduled time & date because of shipping deadlines
- Be able to BEND to pick up products & at times moving a box from the porch to the unit. You can carry it or push it with your foot.
- Be able to STAND for few hours.
- Be able to be around friendly dogs
- Be laser focused with attention to detail. Oversights and errors would be reported by customers and would be costly.
- Be comfortable being surrounded by a security system
You’ll have a (paid) 30 minute break after 2 hours or so depending on the work flow. Please have a stable mood and don’t be a complainer. I’m not here to torture you or take advantage of you. Everything you’d do is something I would do and have done as well. It’s an easy job and as long as you’re RELIABLE (sticking to an agreed upon time) and focused, you’ll be just fine.
I would need you two to 3 times a week for about 3 hours, sometimes even more. Holiday period is obviously busier. You may be working with someone else at times.
