PT sewing machine operator and assistant needed. Must have experience sewing apparel stretch spandex fabrics specifically dancewear, leotards, swimsuits, sportswear, costumes etc. Must be experienced on industrial sewing machines including overlock, single needle and coverstitch. We are unable to train you how to operate an industrial sewing machine. If you do not have industrial sewing machine experience on all 3 machines sewing apparel, do not apply.
Job responsibilities include:
-laying out fabric and cutting patterns with accuracy and detail
-ability to sew a finished garment from seeing the sample and utilizing all finishing methods
-knowledge in garment construction and the ability to contribute your knowledge to the production process
-able to thread and adjust industrial Juki sewing machines
-we will train you to assist in other areas of the company for the right person.

This is a part-time FLEXIBLE position and you can choose the hours you are available to work. If you currently have another job, we will work around your current work schedule days or nights, 7 days of the week so you can utilize this position to make some extra income according to your scheduled needs. You must be reliable and willing to work at least 20 hours a week from now until December in order to meet seasonal deadlines. Hours after the holidays will vary.
Must be eligible to work in the US and are fluent in speaking, reading and writing in English.
