Overview:
We are looking for a Tree Climber & Pruner to join our tree service team. If you have tree climbing experience, we want you! We offer great benefits, including health insurance, 401k matching, paid time off, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
Climb trees to trim and remove branches as needed.
Use tools like chainsaws and hand saws safely.
Clear areas of stumps, fallen trees, and debris.
Maintain and clean tools and equipment.
Inspect trees for diseases or pests.
Work with team members to ensure safety on the job.
Lead and guide others when required.
Requirements:
Knowledge of different tree species.
Strong tree climbing and pruning experience.
Ability to operate tree care equipment like chainsaws and chippers.
Good communication skills.
Valid driver's license.
Must be able to lift 60 pounds or more and work flexible hours.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent.
2-5 years of tree climbing and pruning experience required.
