We are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering doors and related materials to our customers and job sites while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, be physically fit to handle heavy loads, and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely and efficiently transport doors and related materials to job sites
Verify the accuracy of orders and delivery information with customers and company staff
Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment and techniques
Perform regular vehicle maintenance and safety checks
Follow all traffic laws and company policies and procedures
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor when interacting with customers and staff
Report any delivery discrepancies or damages to the appropriate personnel
Organize and maintain the warehouse to ensure accurate inventory levels
Assist in other warehouse duties as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license with a clean 3 year driving record
Experience driving delivery trucks or similar vehicles
Ability to lift and move heavy loads, up to 50 pounds or more
Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
Organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently, swiftly and with minimal supervision
Familiarity with warehouse safety regulations and procedures
Working Conditions:
This position involves regular driving and warehouse work, and may require lifting and moving heavy items. The work may be physically demanding and may involve working in various weather conditions. The candidate must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
