An up and coming optical lab is looking to hire a team member that is detail oriented, highly motivated and energetic. Having a great attitude is essential.
Candidate must have at least 1 year of experience working in optical or in an optical lab. Being proficient in lensometry is a BIG plus. Must be able to read and interpret the Rx orders for data entry and lens retrieval of proper base curve if necessary.
Duties will include, but not limited to:
- Proper use of ophthalmic lens manufacturing equipment as well as performing the required daily maintenance
- Data entry of Rx to produce work tickets
- Efficient (yet urgently) and meticulous production of ophthalmic lenses
- Lens inventory such as restocking and ordering
- Logistic and shipping
