Role Description
FireFoil is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Production Manager to oversee our sewing manufacturing operations. The Production Manager will scale FireFoil’s production needs based on forecasting in coordination with Marketing and Customer Success teams. They will recruit, hire and train staff; maintain and operate sewing and ancillary equipment; coordinate with 3PL to receive materials and ensure timely customer shipments; manage raw and finished inventory; evaluate and hold employees accountable to standards and time-shifts; and maintain the highest degree of safety in the facility. The Operations Manager is a leader who will consistently roll-up their sleeves to ensure projects are completed on-time and on-budget. This is a high-growth opportunity to build out the manufacturing capability of a growing business.
Qualifications
-Experience with contract sewing and manufacturing preferred.
-Experience working closely with 3PL preferred.
-Spanish and English language is required.
-Experience recruiting, hiring and training staff in a production environment.
-Smart, organized professional with strong problem-solving abilities and multi-tasking abilities.
-Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with remote leaders.
-Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision and take initiative.
-Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
-Experienced in using office docs, spreadsheets, and other digital tools to track and communicate with employees and leadership.
-Must undergo background check and drug testing upon hire.
