Eastridge is staffing for General Laborer - 1st Shift roles in Henderson.
Location: Henderson Nevada 89015
Position: Shipping & Materials
Schedule: 1st Shift 6 AM - 2:30 PM
Salary: $19.00/hr
Direct-Hire role
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Prepare and pack products for shipment in accordance with established guidelines.
-Affix shipping labels and ensure accurate documentation for outgoing packages.
-Coordinate with carriers for timely and efficient delivery.
-Unload incoming shipments, verify contents against packing slips, and inspect for damages.
-Record received items into the inventory system and distribute them to the appropriate departments.
-Communicate with suppliers and resolve discrepancies in shipments.
-Material Handling: Organize and maintain the warehouse for optimal storage and accessibility. Assist in the movement of materials between different areas of the facility.
-Use material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, following safety protocols.
-Inventory Management: Perform regular cycle counts and assist in periodic physical inventory checks.
-Report and investigate any inventory discrepancies or issues.
-Work closely with the inventory control team to maintain accurate stock levels.
-Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on incoming and outgoing materials to ensure adherence to standards. Identify and report any damaged or non-conforming items.
