The position of Dispatcher is an important one with our company. The Dispatcher is responsible for sending the right technician to the right job and communicating with clients about changes to the schedule. Anyone performing in this capacity must have the verbal skills and professionalism that will allow for effective communication with the clients and technicians over the phone.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Answer service phone line, handling each situation with tact, diplomacy, and empathy
Record customer service requests with attention to detail
Dispatch Service Technicians and maintain schedules to ensure work is completed timely
Provide purchase orders and order parts when appropriate
Monitor open jobs waiting for parts or follow up work
Track and record progress of service calls
Refer repair and replacement requests to the appropriate person
Tag jobs as completed for billing.
Set up couriers and parts delivery
Schedule warehouse deliveries

WHAT WE'D LIKE:
Dispatch/business management software experience desired, but not required
Industry experience (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) will be a plus, but is not mandatory
