Global Foods, Inc is looking to fill an order processing position. This is a temporary position that could eventually become permanent. Global Foods is a successful food sales and distribution company. Our primary markets include correctional institutions, food banks, schools and retail establishments. There is a great deal of opportunity in our industry as our customer base is growing in record numbers. JOB BENEFITS: Starting pay is $19.00-$21.00 per hour DOE; Hours are Monday thru Friday 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, no weekends or evenings; Health insurance, holiday pay and PTO all after 90 days. SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Understand the importance of creating a positive and professional first impression on the phone and in person; Ability to multitask while maintaining a positive attitude; Ability to work well with others; Ability to communicate effectively; Excellent organizational, interpersonal and written and oral communication skills; Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet research.
JOB FUNCTIONS: Enter and follow up on orders to insure orders are delivered to the customer on time; Contact vendors ro clarify and check orders; Keep track of all orders and communicate pertinent information to sales reps and buyers; Report daily daily/weekly to rte Freight Supervisor as requested; Develop and maintain skills in the area of product knowledge; Perform other duties as assigned
