A growing property management firm in the Las Vegas area is seeking a Leasing Associate to join their

growing team. Multiple apartment community locations spread throughout the valley require a driven,

focused and flexible individual with a high desire to professionally achieve high tenant occupancy and

retention goals through superior customer service and fostering positive resident relationships.

Required Education & Training

- High School diploma or equivalent, Associates Degree desirable.

- Two (2) years’ experience working as a Leasing Associate or Property Manager.

- Two (2) years’ experience working as a Leasing Associate or Agent.

Essential Functions

- Perform all sales and leasing activities, including greeting and qualifying prospects, showing units and

touring the property.

- Ensure the properties meet company standards for cleanliness and upkeep, and communicate

deficiencies to the General Manager.

- Ensure the rental application and lease has been completed to company standards.

- Be knowledgeable on local market trends and competitor comps. Be able to formulate a marketing

strategy to drive prospective tenant traffic to the property.

- Proficiency in using internet tools such as Facebook, Craig’s List, Google, etc. for marketing.

- Facilitate the "move in" & "move out" and lease renewal process. Rent collections as needed.

- Having familiarity with the mechanics of, and having existing relationships with local Non-

Governmental Organization (NGO) programs such as Salvation Army, CHiPs, etc. is highly desirable.

- Demonstrated experience facilitating evictions in the Las Vegas valley jurisdictional (City of Las

Vegas/North Las Vegas/Henderson) courts preferred.

- Courteous handling of tenant complaints and requests in a timely, efficient manner.

Additional Skills & Abilities

- Strong customer service, organizational, time management and follow-up skills required. Use of G-

Suite/PC applications (Google Email, MS Office Suite/Excel/Word, etc.) needed. Experience with web-based

property management software would be useful.

- English fluency (verbal & written) is essential, Spanish language skills would be useful.

- Must have knowledge of Fair Housing laws.

- This is a 1099 contract position.
