Local Insurance Agency seeking an Insurance Sales/ Service Representative.
Hours: Monday-Friday 9:00AM-5:00PM.
Compensation: Salary $30k-40k DPE
Responsibilities
-Ability to work independently
-Answers phone calls and advise accordingly
-Issue new policies for new customers, based on their insurance needs.
-Responsible for effectively using all available resources to make policy changes, answer policy and billing questions, take payments, and provide requested documentation.
-Diagnose policyholder issues, provides solutions, and uses a structured thought process to achieve results while balancing policyholder's needs following company guidelines
-Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
-Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
-Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
Requirements
-Highschool diploma
-P&C Licensed, or ability to obtain
-Excellent interpersonal skills
-Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
-People-oriented
-Organizational skills
-Detail oriented
-Experience in a variety of computer applications, particularly Windows
-Ability to multi-task
-Ability to effectively relate to a customer
-Provide timely and thorough activity reports to agent
-Punctual & Reliable
-Friendly Attitude
