Agency Producer
At Draney Zheng Insurance the Agency Producer is a critical member of our team. They are responsible for directly contributing to and supporting the achievement of sales goals for the agency. They work in a sales and marketing capacity to meet short-term and long-term goals for agency growth. This includes prospecting new clients, selling policies to new customers, cross-selling to existing clients, creating positive customer service experiences, retaining existing policies and meeting profitability goals. An Agency Producer is eligible for bonuses and profit sharing if they meet their objectives. Additionally, Agency Producers may earn the opportunity to be practice area leaders and build their own offices or teams.
Must be licensed in Property and Casualty Insurance or possess the ability to get licensed prior to starting the position
CORE JOB DUTIES
Solicits and writes new insurance policies through telephone, digital, and in person campaigns
Documents expiration dates and receives approval to remain connected with new clients and prospects via phone, email and text
Identify and Engage prospects at community and sponsored events
Executes and manages three step commercial prospecting and sales process
Coordinates with management to ensure recommendations for proper coverage are followed
Demonstrates a understanding of field underwriting to properly rate new accounts
Maintains knowledge of new products and initiatives
Pursues educational opportunities to enhance insurance and business expertise
Executes follow up process on initial conversations and customer correspondence
Develops, manages and executes digital campaigns
Maintains monthly sales records and provides copies to management for review
Performs other duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ideal candidate will have basic math and PC skills, strong verbal and written communication, capacity to understand insurance coverages, conflict resolution skills, and a desire to progress within the agency.
