Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated employee that can pass the NSCB C-1 Plumbing License test. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years’ verifiable Commercial Plumbing experience as well as Project Management and Estimating Experience. Must also possess a comprehensive mechanical and plumbing aptitude. Chosen candidate will be compensated with a competitive salary + monthly earnings for being the Qualified Employee.
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in compliance with local codes and regulations.
- Oversee construction quality to ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards.
- Analyze plans, specs, and other documents to create an accurate cost estimate and proposal.
- Compare proposals and contracts to identify issues or gaps in scope.
- Manage projects from inception to final walk-through, ensuring complete and correct system installation.
- Visit jobsites to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and manage project schedules, RFI’s, Change Orders to meet timelines, address scope changes or deficiencies.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure timely completion of contract scopes, punch lists, and administrative tasks, such as change orders, billings, and submittals.
- Communicate with General Contractors, Subcontractors, and 3rd Tier Subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of proven experience as a commercial plumber.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of HVAC and Refrigeration systems a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret plumbing schematics.
- Knowledge of state and local codes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrate attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Lead a team and create strategy and goals for team productivity and quality of work
- Strong troubleshooting and conflict resolution skills
- Work safely with hand/power tools, scissor/power lifts, ladders and comfortable with heights.
- Multitask and maintain a positive attitude while troubleshooting in stressful situations
- Basic computer and MS Office knowledge.
- Experience with QuickBooks, Sage, Procore, and BuildOps a plus.

Pay: $75,000 - $100,000 a year
Expected hours: 40 per week
