Summary The Carpenter / Cabinet Maker is responsible for crafting, assembling, and repairing exhibit booth cabinets and components to maintain on-brand standards. This role involves completing work submitted through work orders according to the established process. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Construct custom exhibits, including but not limited to, wall panels, custom cabinets/countersDesign and create templates, jigs, and fixtures for the production of furniture and other products.Build and fit crates for shipping.Laminate cabinet and furniture components.Trim joints and fit parts together.Prepare and apply solid surfaces, veneers, metal and plastic laminates.Sand wooden surfaces.Set up and operate saws and other woodworking machines to cut, shape, and form parts.Prepare specifications for articles to be made.Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.Fill out detailed production paperwork and reports.Adhere to Impact XM policies and processes efficiently and accurately.Complete all custom fabrication work in a safe, timely and efficient manner.Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols. Keep up to date on all safety / OSHA training. Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
